Abstract
► The yield of total phenolic compounds (PC) was increasing with increasing temperature. ► Phenomenological model for batch solid-liquid extraction kinetics was proposed. ► Both partition constants and effective internal diffusivity were temperature-dependent. ► The other adjustable model parameters, PC content in seed and fraction of open cells, were constant.
