Abstract
⺠Maqui berry extract (MBE) contains delphinidin glycosides as major ingredients. ⺠MBE and its constituent inhibit light-induced photoreceptor cell (661W) death. ⺠MBE and its constituent inhibit light-induced ROS production in 661W. ⺠MBE inhibit light-induced phosphorylation of p38 in 661W. ⺠MBE was much stronger than those of other berry extracts.
