Abstract
												⺠Recovery of seed phenolics was optimised by varying crucial extraction parameters. ⺠Phenolic compounds were almost exclusively located in the hulls. ⺠POPj formation markedly differed for the investigated apple seed extracts. ⺠Seed extracts are a promising source for the recovery of natural yellow colourants.
