Abstract
⺠To evaluate the effects of garlic oil on cardiac apoptosis induced by a hypercholesterol diet. ⺠Hamsters were divided into three groups including control, cholesterol, cholesterol plus garlic oil diets for 2 months. ⺠Results suggest protective effects by garlic oil on cardiac apoptosis induced by high cholesterol intake.
