Abstract
⺠The effect of lingonberries eaten with fatty meal on metabolic response was studied. ⺠Metabolite changes were determined by postprandial urine fingerprints. ⺠NMR spectroscopy enabled the analysis with minimal sample preparation. ⺠Multivariate analysis revealed the changes in urine caused by lingonberries. ⺠Concentrations of hippuric acid, creatinine and dimethylamine changed significantly.
