Abstract
► The effect of lingonberries eaten with fatty meal on metabolic response was studied. ► Metabolite changes were determined by postprandial urine fingerprints. ► NMR spectroscopy enabled the analysis with minimal sample preparation. ► Multivariate analysis revealed the changes in urine caused by lingonberries. ► Concentrations of hippuric acid, creatinine and dimethylamine changed significantly.
