Abstract
► The novel allergen sarcoplasmic calcium-binding protein (SCP) from crayfish Procambarus clarkii was purified and identified. ► The physicochemical and immunological properties of SCP were characterised to confirm the allergenicity of SCP. ► IgE-binding activity of SCP polymorphism was compared.
