Abstract
► Protective effects of citrus flavonoids on alcoholic liver disease were investigated. ► Flavonoids were isolated from citrus peels by ultrasonication and purified further. ► Glycosylation and de-rhamnosylation were performed by CGTase and hesperidinase. ► Effectiveness of flavonoids can be further improved by enzymatic modifications.
