Abstract
► HHP treatment could decrease the haemagglutination activity of PHA. ► HHP could interfere with the secondary structures of PHA. ► HHP changed the thermal behaviour of PHA. ► FTIR and DSC proved PHA unfolding caused by low pressure <450 MPa. ► FTIR and DSC proved PHA aggregation induced by high pressure >450 MPa.
