Abstract
⺠Elemental analysis represents tools to differentiate wines based on their origins. ⺠We investigate the metal profile of authentic wine from several Romanian vineyards. ⺠Mn, Cr, Sr, Ag and Co represents indicators for discrimination strategy. ⺠The results are the starting point to build a database for the Romanian wines. ⺠The methodology will help to prevent fraudulent practices in wine industry.
