Abstract
⺠Both APP and AFP were acidic polysaccharides from Pink Lady apple peel and flesh. ⺠Both APP and AFP exerted significant hepatoprotection from CCl4-induced damage in mice. ⺠The hepatoprotection of APP and AFP was mediated by antioxidant mechanism in mice. ⺠Histopathological tests show the protection from CCl4 caused histological alteration.
