Abstract
⺠Using an auto-titrator, potentiometric titration proved to be a quick, precise, and robust method for amylose determination in starch. ⺠The determination limit for the current method was 3 mg of amylose. ⺠Colorimetric method seemed to overestimate amylose content in starch. ⺠Results for tested starches agree with previously reported literature values. ⺠It does not require the starch solution to be clear and colourless.
