Abstract

âº l-Isoleucine increased GLUT-4 translocation to the plasmatic membrane. âº l-Leucyl-l-isoleucine increased GLUT-4 translocation to the plasmatic membrane. âº l-Leucyl-l-isoleucine caused the highest insulinotropic effect. âº l-Isoleucine reduced the blood glucose levels, without increasing the insulin levels.
