Abstract
- The reactions of H3O+·(H2O)n (n = 0-2), NO+ and O2+ with terpenoid aldehydes and alcohols have been studied.
- Quantum chemical calculations of the polarizabilities and electric dipole moments of the molecules were performed.
- All measured rate constants were found to be close to the collision rate constant.
- Multiple reaction mechanisms were observed.
