Abstract
- A novel ligand (homobarringtonie) was found to have high affinity to human telomeric G-quadruplex.
- ESI-MS showed that P1 selectively bind to the G-quadruplex than the duplex DNA.
- P1 binds to the external groove of the G-quadruplex through hydrogen bonding and van der Waals forces.
