Abstract
- We compare ESI of florfenicol and thiamphenicol in CH3OH and THF.
- THF was better than CH3OH or CH3CN that are traditionally used for LC-MS.
- THF:H2O solvent system can replace the CH3OH:H2O/CH3CN:H2O for better sensitivity.
- We report the use of THF:H2O solvent system for ESI/HPLC of the phenicols.
