Abstract
- We present the infrared predissociation spectrum of peroxo manganese intermediate.
- The species were electrosprayed and cooled in a cryogenically cooled ion trap.
- Action spectra on N2 adducts give a side on binding motif of the O2 adduct.
- Comparison with 18O2 substitution and harmonic spectra confirms assignment.
- Isolation of reactive intermediates will pave way for cluster mediated chemistry.
