Abstract
⺠Catalytic pyrolysis enhances the quality of pyrolysis products compared to thermal pyrolysis. ⺠The dechlorination step is an unavoidable step in order to reduce the chlorine content of the pyrolysis liquids. ⺠The low-temperature dechlorination step decreases catalyst activity, therefore it must be carried out in the absence of catalyst. ⺠Catalytic stepwise pyrolysis produces low chlorine content and valuable pyrolysis liquids.
