Abstract
⺠Use of pyrolysis to characterize the molecular structure of particulates. ⺠Desorbable components closely resemble macromolecular fragments. ⺠Effluent particulates enriched in lignin and microbial reworked compounds. ⺠No evidence found for the accumulation of anthropogenic chemicals. ⺠High resistance to biodegradation has disposal implications.
