Abstract
⺠We used new prototypes of narrow-bore monolithic columns for gradient elution analyses. ⺠A commercial check-out sample was analyzed. ⺠So was a non-polar extract of cultures of Botryococcus braunii, Showa race B. ⺠The performance of three monolithic columns were compared to those of commercial packed columns. ⺠The performance of the second generation monolithic columns compare well to those of packed columns.
