Abstract
⺠Porous polymer monoliths always contain a distribution of subnanometer-sized pores. ⺠Nanometer-sized pore space changes with mobile phase solvent composition. ⺠Transport efficiency is ruled by modulated porous gel structure. ⺠Polymer feature size and interstitial pore size affects transport efficiency. ⺠Lower permeability, smaller phase ratio, finer globule structure improve performance.
