Abstract
⺠Bio-available iodine and bromine speciation studies in edible seaweed were developed. ⺠In vitro dialyzability was used to assess the bio-available fractions. ⺠AEC and RPC hyphenated with inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry was used. ⺠Iodide, MIT, DIT, bromide and bromate were found in dialyzates from edible seaweed. ⺠Orbitrap mass spectrometry confirmed the presence of MIT and DIT in the dialyzates.
