Abstract
⺠We evaluated the performance of a pilot scale packed column for the continuous extraction of IgG. ⺠Aqueous two-phase systems of PEG and salt enable IgG recoveries yields of 85%. ⺠85% of total protein contaminants were removed. ⺠The mass transfer was controlled by the PEG-rich phase.
