Abstract
⺠This study aimed to establish a nutritional ranking among 30 genotypes of cowpea. ⺠The proximate composition and other parameters vary among the genotypes. ⺠Traditional genetic breeding can produce significant variation in food composition. ⺠An index was created based on 7 nutritional parameters to rank the genotypes. ⺠Based upon the index, the best genotype was BRS-Cauamé followed by BRS-Tumucumaque.
