Abstract
⺠Distribution of minerals in the seed fractions in common bean was examined. ⺠Bean contains 94% calcium in seed coat and 76% potassium in embryo. ⺠Iron, zinc and copper concentrations vary widely between seed fractions. ⺠BRS Supremo and Iraà cultivars have high nutritional value for dietary use.
