Abstract
⺠Rice from supermarkets and a local field trial were analyzed for 36 elements. ⺠Dietary intake estimates were calculated for essential and toxic elements. ⺠Rice is a staple in Jamaica, but contributes little to elemental nutrition. ⺠Data from field trial could form basis for site selection for Jamaican rice farming.
