Abstract
⺠Edible mushrooms are rich in SOD. ⺠Edible mushrooms' SOD shows high thermal stability. ⺠Isozymes of edible mushrooms are MnSOD and FeSOD; MnSOD is the main isozymes. ⺠First report of using 4-35% PGGE method to identify and determine SOD isozymes. ⺠The trace amounts (ng) SOD can be detected using PGGE method.
