► In 25 Indian eggplant cultivars, dry matter content was 6.03-9.14 g/100 g. ► K and Mg content was 160-272 and 5.15-20.4 mg/100 g FW. ► Cu, Fe and Zn were 0.0453-0.144, 0.199-0.813 and 0.0778-0.270 mg/100 g FW.
