Abstract
The regularized shallow water (RSW) equation system is proposed together with a central-difference algorithm for its numerical solution. The possibilities of the new computational model are demonstrated for a 1D dam break and Le-Veque’s perturbation tests, and for 2D asymmetric dam break test problems.
