Abstract
- A clinically relevant, cost-effective renal function monitoring procedure is offered.
- Plasmatic iopamidol and p-aminohippuric acid are measured simultaneously by RP-HPLC.
- This method allows for the accurate simultaneous estimation of GFR and TS.
- Urine collection is not required.
- GFR and TS are reliable parameters for renal function assessment.
