Abstract
The site-specific amino, imidazole, and carboxylate basicities of ovothiol A disulfide, the smallest multifunctional hexabasic biomolecule, are quantified in terms of 96 chemically different microscopic protonation constants: a set of constituents for a robust redox buffer system.
