Abstract
- Simple and fast quantitative method for the drug metformin in dog serum was developed.
- Flow injection analysis (FIA)-tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS) was employed.
- Deuterated internal standard was utilized and the method was fully validated.
- The method was applied for the quantification of metformin in IV treated dogs.
