Abstract

- A GC-MS method was optimized and validated for determination of d-AAs ratio in urine.
- The sample preparation was based on SCX-SPE with only 1 mL of urine.
- Fourteen pairs of AAs were separated.
- The method was applied to a Gestational Diabetes Mellitus study with pregnant women (n = 20 control; n = 20 GDM).
- d-Phe ratio was found statistically significant higher in urine of GDM women.
