Abstract
- We developed a simple method to quantitate MSA at 1-10Â ppm using HILIC-ESI-MS.
- The methodology is useful to control alkyl sulfonate genotoxic impurities.
- HILIC retention mechanism was also investigated.
- The advantage of using ESI-MS detection in HILIC mode was demonstrated.
