Abstract
- ATR-IR spectra were recorded for 125 dietary supplements suspected of containing sibutramine.
- ATR-IR spectra were related to the presence of sibutramine using chemometrics.
- A k-NN model was able to discriminate between positive and negative samples.
- Detection of sibutramine is possible in dosage of 3Â mg in 20Â g of product.
