Abstract
- Four herbal extracts with high α-glucosidase inhibition were analyzed using on-line HPLC-DAD-MS/MS-BCD method.
- A novel sample preparation was developed to remove non-specific enzyme inhibitors.
- Ellagic acid was found as a specific α-glucosidase inhibitor in four herbal extracts.
