Abstract
- The incidence of chlorthalidone polymorphs in raw materials and tablets was studied.
- The solubility and dissolution properties of chlorthalidone forms I and II were examined.
- Chlorthalidone form II is up to 49% more soluble than form I.
- Some raw materials and tablets contain chlorthalidone polymorph II.
