Abstract
- All the degradation products of tamsulosin were well resolved from parent drug as well as from each other in a gradient method.
- Identified 12 hitherto unknown degradation products formed under various stress degradation conditions.
- Structure elucidation of degradation products has been carried out using online LC-MS/MS experiments in combination with accurate mass measurements.
- Probable mechanisms are proposed for the formation of degradation products.
