Abstract
- ATR-IR and NIR spectroscopy for the quantification of verbenalin and verbascoside in Verbena officinalis was compared.
- ATR-IR is suitable for the determination of verbenalin and verbascoside.
- NIR shows acceptable results just for verbenalin.
- ATR-IR reached better quality parameters compared to NIR.
