Abstract
⺠This work presents photostability testing of ranitidine in a solid state. ⺠Detection of some volatile organic compounds is proposed. ⺠HS-SPME-GC-MS was employed as a powerful tool. ⺠Sixteen peaks were detected in the headspace over irradiated ranitidine. ⺠Most of the suspected products' molecular masses were not higher than 143 Da.
