Abstract
► A fast headspace-GC-MS method was developed for residual solvent analysis. ► The quantitative analysis was validated for 10 solvents applying the total error approach. ► All relative expanded uncertainties were around 5%. ► The method was applied for the analysis of relative solvents in counterfeit tablets and capsules.
