Abstract
⺠DMDM hydantoin is one of the most popular preservatives. ⺠We devised a new method for measuring DMDMH and its decomposition products. ⺠The method allows the analysis of DMDMH without the progress of decomposition. ⺠We can exactly determine the quantity of DMDMH and its decomposition products. ⺠The method enables the analysis of DMDMH in commercially available cosmetics.
