Abstract
To understand the molecular mechanisms involved in the interaction of probiotic B. longum with Caco-2, proteomic profiles of NCC2705 and a Plg overlay assay were carried out. 32 genes exhibiting a â¥Â 3-fold change were identified upon co-cultured with Caco-2. Our data showed that the moonlighting proteins EF-Tu and Eno were adhesions in the interaction process of B. longum NCC2705 with IEC Caco-2.72
