Abstract
⺠We report an optimised CBB protocol to enhance quantitative top-down proteomics. ⺠The selectivity and sensitivity of detection for Coomassie were enhanced. ⺠The linear dynamic range of the optimised Coomassie was superior to SYPRO Ruby. ⺠2DE analyses of mammalian and plant proteomes also reveal superior spot detection.
