Abstract
We present the first transcriptome of the adult stage of the model organism Echinostoma caproni using 454 sequencing coupled to a semi-automated bioinformatic analysis. This dataset has increased the identification of ES proteins by 10 fold using proteomic techniques, and will provide the basis for the development of novel therapeutic solutions against trematodiasis.95
