Protein identification in two phases of 1,3-propanediol production by proteomic analysis

Using proteomic analysis by two-dimensional electrophoresis (2D)-mass spectrometry, were identified expressed proteins in two stages of growth during the production of 1,3-propanediol by a strain native Clostridium sp. The results obtained were compared with those of the reference strain Clostridium butyricum DSM 2478. Were found differences in the proteins identified from both growth phases and between the strains studied.100
