Abstract
⺠We evaluated the post-fire condition of soil samples near the Brazilian Antarctic Station. ⺠Copper, Pb and Zn presented alarming levels in the soil samples collected. ⺠μ-X-Ray Fluorescence in combination with chemometrics provides fast and reliable information. ⺠A complete clean-up procedure ought to be carried out to avoid leaching/washing.
