Abstract
⺠Vanadium (V) fractions determination is necessary for risk assessment of asphaltite combustion waste (ACW). ⺠This study presents the total concentration and a seven step sequential extraction method for the fractionation of vanadium in ACW and their determination by ICP-OES. ⺠Relative abundances of the V fractions in ACW follow the order: Sulfide > oxidizable > reducible > carbonate > residual > exchangeable > water soluble.
