Abstract
⺠Synthesis of a low cost, environmentally friendly solid phase resin: Amberlite XAD-4[salicyl aspartide]. ⺠Development of an extraction method for preconcentration of Pb(II), Cu(II), Ni(II0, Co(II), and Zn(II) in aqueous solution by this resin. ⺠High selectivity for cations by pH control. ⺠High sorption capacity with high preconcentration factor. ⺠Quantitative recovery of the resin.
