Abstract
⺠A LA-ICPMS method was developed to measure trace metals in herbal supplements. ⺠Yield recoveries for reference materials were 85%-110% for the elements studied. ⺠Results were comparable to solution-based ICPMS which involved acid digestion. ⺠Metal levels in the supplements were below daily allowance and minimum risk levels.
