Abstract
⺠A new method is proposed for recovery of indium from end-of-life liquid-crystal displays (LCDs). ⺠Mechanochemical treatment of the LCDs enhanced the rate of indium extraction. ⺠Aminopolycarboxylate chelants (APCs) is evaluated for the recovery of indium. ⺠An excess of APCs in solution is required to achieve effective rate of extraction. ⺠The rate of indium extraction is intensified when system temperature is raised.
